DSI Entertainment Systems is taking pre-orders now on the revolutionary new PRIMA Cinema movie player. This is a device that will allow you to watch first-run feature films in your private home theater day-and-date with their public Box Office release. This is the first time that this service has been offered to those outside of Hollywood. The way the system works is ingenious. The digital films are delivered to your home via an ordinary broadband connection in a fully secure and encrypted format. The delivery method and playback architecture allows for instant high definition playback with your existing home theater display and audio systems. Military-grade security safeguards the films and also prevents unauthorized use of your system.
Films will be available on PRIMA Cinema during the same window that the film is in wide release in the public Box Office. New films will rotate in and old films will rotate out, just like the Box Office. You will need a video display with an HDMI input and at least a 10Mbps broadband Internet connection. The connection is used to download the movie to the PRIMA Cinema's internal hard drives in advance of playback.
